Share It

Two (2) refresher trainings for community radio journalists were conducted in Pokhara on April 1-3, 2015 and January 7-8, 2017. These trainings aimed to share national and global updates on climate change, REDD+ and indigenous peoples’ issues to community radio journalists so that the journalist would be able to produce relevant radio program. Altogether 53 community radio journalists including 34 men and 19 women from 23 radios attended the trainings. According to the reflection of the participant, (the community radio journalist), those trainings were very useful for them to know about indigenous peoples’ issues in climate change, which has been helpful for them to explore the ground reality to be covered in the radio program.
